If Dan Fitzpatrick Jr. is right then we are in a steady-state universe
with Einstein's cosmological constant repulsive force, holding everything apart,
and we would not perceive the difference between this and an accelerating, expanding universe.

If there is no perceived difference between gravity and acceleration then
there is no perceived difference between the two abovementioned universes either!
