>>On one hand, bresmmstrahlung is explained due to decceleration of speedy electron by positive charge of protons while passing through strong nuclear Coulomb field. If positive charge of protons can effect so much on a speedy electron, escape of beta particle from nucleus in its decay cannot be explained.>> >>Similarly, if electron has truely negative charge, Electron capture should take place in all cases. Chemical bonding, passage of electricity in an electric wire are difficult to explain.>> >>The concept of charge originally introduced due to effect of electrical and magnetic fields on electron needs review.>> >>M.A.Padmanabha Rao Dear Professor Padmanabha Rao! This is a very insightful observation. What is the nature of an electric charge? It is the MAPPING of a higher dimensional Magnetocharge onto the lower dimensional Electrocharge. This represents the manifestation of the long predicted, but unobserved Magnetic Monopole and the supersymmetry in the Maxwell Equations. This mapping also maps the Planck-Scale as a family of superstrings onto the quantum scale as the Compton-Wavelength, the Thomson Scattering and the Size of the Proton as a basenucleon. As the proton scale is contained within the electron scale, the unification of the quarks and the leptons can proceed without a 'zoo' of supersymmetric particles (sparticles). The formulated mapping is simply given in the identity: ElectronicDiameter.c^2 =Magnetocharge (e*)<->Planck-Length- Oscillation.c^2=Electrocharge (e). Analysis crystallises the higher D Magnetocharge as the StarCoulomb (C*), which is equivalent to the Coulomb (C)in the lower D-setting. Since e* can be expressed in the form of Inverse Energy (as consequence of modular duality defining the superstring families), the mass of a magnetic monopole (c^3 electronVolt as the GUT boundary) becomes associated with any Coulomb Charge and explains the NATURE of a Charge as the superbrane duality manifesting in the observed mass-electricity duality. Thanking you for your insightful remarks. Tony B. Sirebard Return to RB Duncan Press homepage 2005 RB Duncan Press |
